Web 2.0 Wednesday: Google Maps

For this Wednesday’s project, I had to tell something unique and interesting about where I live.  So I made a Google Map of some of my favorite places in Philadelphia.

Dan, I live in Philadelphia, too (Mt Airy, right off Germantown Ave), so it was great to see your list! Naked Chocolate is my favorite dessert place in the city, bar none. The hot chocolate is to die for and in the winter especially, my husband and I have Indian food at the restaurant across the street (he’s a huge Tandoori chicken fanatic) and then cap it off with a Naked Chocolate bittersweet hot chocolate. And as long as we’re in the area, I have to put in a plug for margarita’s at El Vez around the corner on 13th. Awesome!

    Great map.
I don’t know Philly that well but if I do go there (and I am part of the National Writing Project, and one element of its home offices are there in your city), I’ll know which map to use.
    Thanks
    Kevin

Dan, Great map. This is such a cool idea. I think I’m going to play around with Google Maps this weekend and see what I can come up with for visiting family.
