I’m number 56!

Over at the OnlineUniversities blog they have a great list of 100 Twitter feeds for new teachers starting out on Twitter, conveniently organized by category. As with any of these lists, one can quibble with it. For example, I somehow doubt I’m a more useful person to follow than, say, Kevin Jarrett or Steve Dembo. On the other hand, while I’d swap out somebody on the list for Chris Bugaj, I’d stand by the Special Education list as one filled with a true powerhouse team of educators committed to making a difference for our most vulnerable learners. I feel honored to be associated in even the slightest way with such great, knowledgeable people.

If you haven’t signed up for a Twitter account already and you teach, you’re ignoring one of the single greatest sources of spontaneous professional development resources known to humanity. Go sign up already, then get started following people on that list!
